Study And Deploitation On The Multimedia Instruction System Of Engineering Cartography

Multimedia instruction is becoming a new type of modern teaching measure with the development of computer technology. With the help of computer, it provides the student a totally new study environment through the combination of text, sound, animation and so on. What's more, it also creates condition to improve teaching efficiency and quality.The purpose of this article is to illustrate the application of multimedia instruction system in the field of engineering cartography instruction, and to show in details about the constitution, processing techniques and designing ideas with the completed multimedia courseware "cartography of component parts".In order to improve efficiency, the courseware is composed with the help of many kinds of software, such as 3D Studio Max, Visual Basic 6.0, Visual C++ 6.0 and Flash MX. Some software composing technologies, such as database, dynamic link library and multi-thread, are mainly discussed. With the united application of different kinds of composing software, some new functions are practiced in this courseware, such as TTS(Text-to-Speech), vectorial scale of graphics and answer judging.Moreover, the future of multimedia instruction is discussed.
