On the basis of some correlative research work and according to the characteristic of double-layer cylindrical lattice shell, a new semi-active control strategy of certain bottom chords replaced by special controllable dampers and a new passive control strategy of certain bottom chords replaced by various dampers are presented. Corresponding programmes made by Matlab language analysis several shell models and the results prove that the above control strategies are effective for double-layer cylindrical lattice shells. And then, further research work is done to study some influencing factors to the final control effect, such as different replacing places and numbers of bottom chords, damp parameter of various dampers and the radio of height and span of the shell.A kind of various damper is designed and produced, the damp parameter of which is obtained through pseudo-dynamic test. And the result matches the expected value well. On basis of that, a double-layer cylindrical lattice shell model is made for further shaking table experiment research. The frequency and the damp radio E, of the shell are tested before that, aiming to checkout the difference between the experimental model and the theoretical model. Finally, shaking table experiments are carriod out, in which input several different character seismic waves with different acceleration peak value on several states of the shell model. The experimental results prove the theory research to be correct and show that the control strategy raised in this thesis is effective and feasible.
