Study On Cultural Intention And Orientation Of The Monumental Architecture

Based on the theories of architectural science, the article applies the theories of other sources like Urban Planning Study, environmental view study, science of culture, sociology, etc. It overlooks the evolution of monumental architecture and the contrast between Chinese and Foreign monumental architecture cultures. Taking the architecture formation and the cultural orientation of monumental architecture during eras as its study object, the article analyses the cultural intention of the monumental architecture and its social historical meaning. It aims at some blank areas of certain acknowledgements during the artistic creation and cultural development process of monumental architecture, and it try to skim, discuss and project out pioneering theoretical proposals. The intention of this article is to a try to expand and redefine the cultural intention of monumental architecture, and propose a new value concept of open-to-public and realization of a more humanized monumental architecture culture under the contemporary cultural background.
