With the development of tracking and pointing system these years, the requirement of Line of Sight (LOS) stabilization of TV tracker becomes more and more strict. Unstable LOS will lead bigger tracking error. At present, most TV tracker is mounted on the deck directly. Because of the change of ship attitude (rolling angle R, pitch angle P and course angle H) led by ship rocked interference and windage, the LOS stabilization will be influenced obviously. To get rid of influence of movement of ship and obtain the stabilization of the swinging ship, servo control system of TV tracker becomes the key of the new measurement and control system.The influence of swinging ship to LOS is analyzed in detail. The tracking precision of the shipborne TV tracker will be improved greatly when the feedforward signal oTship swaying is measured by rate gyro. The principle of piezoelectric gyro is introduced in detail and a series of performance examination experiment about CS61A-3 piezoelectric gyro are finished. It is helpful for the applications of this kind of new gyro. The circuit and the software design is introduced also.
