For the development of electric and electronic elements, failures andreliability of space servo-actuators and their gearing mechanisms threaten to becomethe main limiting factor on mission lifetimes and reliability of on orbit spacecrafts.In the recent years, the number spacecrafts of our country has been rapidlyincreasing, which urgently asks for the removing of the above technical problems.In traditional, the CMG generally use relatively mature high-speedelectromagnetic motor, but in the extreme environmental conditions, lowtemperature, high vacuum, cosmic rays, and atomic oxygen space often causes theinvalidation of the high speed moving parts. Based on the peculiar advantage of theUSM, high torque under low speed, higher power density, high power density, goodlow temperature resistant performance, high position accuracy, flexibleconfiguration, no lubrication, and nonelectromagnetic radiation. Based on thesebackgrounds, this project will study novel space sero-mechanisms by integratingresonant piezo-actuators into the supporting elements, and aim to reduce the sizesand weights of the systems, and to avoid the lubrication failures of conventionalhigh speed electromagnetic motors and their gearing mechanisms.The structure of the model machine of CMG is introduced at first, and make abrief intoduction to the configurations. Verify the feasibility of the configurationfrom the aspects of theory.Make the preliminary theoretical calculation of the USM, and then use theANSYS10.0for the further calculation to determine the size of it. Build the modelof the motor using the size of the simulation. And then carry out the analysis, gettingthe vibration mode and characteristic frequency. Through the transient analysis ofthe USM get the elliptical motion trajectory of the driving teeth. Verify thefeasibility of the configuration from the aspects of simulation. Finally, analyzing thefactors which may influence the properties of traveling wave.Through the theoretical calculation and the simulation analysis of structuralparameters, such as size, making the model of gyroprototype. And conductingexperiments of the model of CMG, testing performance indicators of it.Demonstrate feasibility and correctness of the design through the experiment.
