In this thesis,the Assur Group theory and Kineto-Elasto Dynamics (KED) are applied to conduct the theoretical analysis deeply and to carry out a great deal of numerical calculation for kinematics and dynamics properties of Planar Linkage. Moreover,scientific visualization post-processing method based on Matlab ,VB and Adams is used in analyzing the stress,kineto displacement,natural frequency,vibration model and so on. The main work includes:The kinematic properties of a planner 4-bar linkage are researched deeply using the Assur Group theory. The displacement,velocity and acceleration of each joint point in a motion period are put forward and their curves of the relevant points are plotted.The mechanism is divided into finite elements and researched by KED method. Then kinematic differential equations are established for each element and the general kinematic differential equations are built through assembling all the elements. A closed numericalmethod based on the mode superposition principle is employed to solve the equations. The elastic vibration curves of generalized coordinates in a motion'period are obtained;thedynamics stresses in the links are calculated;the change conditions,of vibration model of the first to fourth order are also obtained.A post-processing method,including color mapping and animation technique and so on,is used in the kinematics and dynamics analysis of Planar Linkage. The results of the application are favorable.One computer software ,using ActiveX technique to transfer Matlab in VB,with a good interface got from VB and a strong calculation capability got from Matlab,for the kinematic and dynamics analysis simulations is developed.Based on Adams,another more deeply kinematic analysis in planner linkage is done ,providing more fundament to the improvment of mechanism.
