Since the World War Two, the ability to anti-shock of a ship has been improved obviously. But the ability to anti-shock and anti-vibration of the shipboard equipment is not well improved, especially in real war, some ships were attacked by missiles, the surface of the ships were not damaged but the ship still lost fighting ability because the shipboard equipment were damaged. Since then many countries had begun or research anti-shock and anti-vibration of the shipboard equipment in succession, and assess the reliability of the shipboard equipment by shock and vibration test.In the paper we analyze the cause of shock and vibration of the shipboard equipment. Explosion in air and water, and counter-shock caused by shipboard weapons firing, all of these will cause the shock to shipboard equipment. Shipboard propeller, engine, auxiliary and power in water all can cause the vibration of the shipboard equipment.By the two-dimension section method and water elasticity theory we specially analyze the important factors which cause shock-response to ship body by bubbles pulse pressure by non-contact explosion. Provide the theory basis for designing anti-shock shipboard equipment.Illustrate the harm to shipboard electronics produced by shock and vibration. Suggest that during product designing not only its capability and function but also its structure, technology and inside parts installing should be considered, to avoid causing resonance in vibration environment.Introduce domestic and overseas mechanical shock test standards for shipboard equipment and vibration test standards for electronics.
