Naval vessel electric power system is a independent power system, which has important effect in Naval vessel. Naval vessel electric power system is small but complicated . This paper presents a fundamental research result on the transit stability of naval vessel electric power system. We do some research and discussion in the following respects:1,In the respect of system modeling, since the method of equivalent has its localization ,and can not adapt to the power system which is increasingly turning great. The article selects Node Voltage which is firstly used in the naval vessel electric power system. The method of Node Voltage is rebuilded by adding the math model of component(generator, asynchronous electromotor etc.). This is a innovation .Applied this method ,we can easily build its math model when the information of Naval vessel electric power system is given. 2,In this paper ,a simulation soft is programmed by Visual C++. This model is consist of three stage switchboard ,and 8 nodes. This general simulation soft can simulate the stable state and all sorts of transit state(fault ? sudden loading and sudden unloading, parallel connection, etc.) .This soft can easily set parameters of the system and the components, and it also can set many sorts of faults .It can display the results statically or dynamically .3,The method of neural networks is used in analysis of transit stability. We choose some characters. It take it as a criterion that the sway angle of rotors of different of is generators is over critical remove angle. This method can easily distinguish the stability of the system by the original character .The method of Node Voltage and the simulation software are import parts of research of stability of Naval vessel electric power system. It is a great attempt that the theory of NN(neural networks )is applied in the research of Naval vessel electric power system. It cut a new way for the research of stability of Naval vessel electric power system.
