Magneto-Rheological damping controller is a pivotal operating system which can be used adjust some operating parameters of the Magneto-Rheological damper and to record inline test data whiling test.The controller is composed of hardware and software.In the paper, the principle and means and actualizing game of Magneto-Rheological damping controller are systemically investigated.Based on the investigation, the theoretical mathematic models between control current and magnetic density of the controller and between control current and the damping force of damper are respectively established.The structure and control circuit and control software of control system are studied based on MCS-51 single-chip microcomputers and on high performance single-chip microcomputers as well on industrial control computer. In the paper a high performance Magneto-Rheological damping controller has been developed based on the operating condition of the damping controller.A suit of performance testing system for adjusting this controller is also designed.According to result of the debugging and experiment of the controller and testing system, there is a good linear relationship between the input and output of the controller and that the damper force increases with output and characteristic curve of force also function on.lt is obvious that the controller has a effective function on controlling.
