The increasing demand for heavy vehicles has seriously threatened the safety of the highway bridge, which is designed and built for the modern transportation. Therefore, the safety assessment to the bearing capacity of the highway bridge for heavy vehicles, and the research on how to improve the bearing capacity to its far extent, will enhance the service level of the highway bridge. It will improve the competency of highway transportation over other means, and develop the transportation industry.The research here mainly covers the reinforced concrete simple beam bridge, figure out the bridge' s bearing capacity based on the actual strength of material and the construction' s characteristics, and thus develop an accurate evaluating methodology, to guide computer program on the safety issues of bridge.According to the data from the massive computing process by our set computer program, I may come to the conclusion that "The closer weight the heavy shafts of vehicles carrys, the minor damage the vehicle did to the bridge" , and introduce a simple practical way.
