With the the society's advancement, rapid development of freeway ,and the gradual implementation of the intelligent traffic system(ITS),The monitoring system of the freeway has already become the focus of investment in building freeway. Achievements of application research and development in field of traffic have very good social benefit and economic benefits.On the basis of using the results of domestic and international research for reference ,many kinds of ripe software and hardware technology,combined with the thought of software project and OOP, have fully adopted in this monitoring system to monitor the whole freeway..At first ,on the basis of analyzing the structure of the freeway monitoring system,the paper puts forward systematic network structure; Secondly,it has analysed the composition and function of the montoring software.Because this section of road conditions of freeway is very complicated ,and there are a lot of tunnels along the freeway,in addition,the weather of some freeway sections is fogy.The system is divided into three subsystems in the function: The freeway section controlling, the fogy district controlling and the tunnel controlling; Thirdly,the main software of the freeway monitoring system is analysed and designed in the dissertation;At last, the structure of procedure and user's interface are given,and the monitoring software of the freeway is implemented.Following the software-engineering rule to develop the project,we divided the task into many simple and independent function units.The interface of all the units is as better as simple and independent.During the course of coding,we encapsulate some code,which can be used repeat,into some functions so we can reduce the complexity and the cost of the maintenance of our software.
