| With the fast development of social economy, the process of urbanization is speeding up in China. Cites are undergoing innovations and changes. Increasing population and insufficiency of urban land lead the expansion of cities from the form of plane space to the stereoscopic one, from separate functional parts to a complex one. Because the residential buildings which rely on the soil resources take a large numbers of projects, a mass of residential buildings has already occupied the precious soil resources. In order to use the city soil resources more efficiently and enhance the utilization of land, we can use several ways to solve the problem, the most popular of which is to combine the residential space with other functional space and to compound them to a whole one. The city-residential buildings with commercial facilities on ground floor is the most universal and popular representative.In this paper, some research has been done on the city-residential buildings with commercial facilities on ground floor as a special architectural form based on practical attitude and systematic method: the historical origin of its arising and developing; Under the basis of a large number of surveys on real built residential tier buildings, the theses at first analyzes and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of them, second, find the factors which determines the property and the scale of commerce, third, make a deeper research on the aspects of ways of flat - combination the using of space, the feasible flat-form of the residential buildings the lay -out of passageway the traffic disposal and exterior space and environments. At last, the author gives the conclusions and advices. |
