The Design Of SI-144 Sonar Objective Emulator

Sonar system emulator is one of the most important test equipments. It is often used to emulate all kinds of system echo signal and system radiation of sonar hydrophone array. And it can provide signal to sonar system for the use of function check and capability test. This kind of emulator is widely used in sonar system research, production, routine, and personnel train.The thesis firstly introduces the design index of sonar system emulator. Then it narrates the sonar system emulator's schematic structure and simulates the work process. In the meanwhile the hardware project for the emulator is described. The thesis focuses on the windows 98 operating system and the schematic design of PCI bus. The flow diagram of data signal process and user's software design are given. Finally, the Visual C++ software programming of computer interface, and the interface specification between analog preprocessing module and digital signal processing module are described.The water pool test results show that the sonar system emulator has met the system's requirements.
