The Theory And Technology Of Active Real-Time Database For Power Monitor System

The ceaseless development of the power system makes the power topology more complex, and need higher dependability on the power system monitor online. The traditional relational database management system can't fulfill the need of times-critical applications, such as power system monitor. The active real-time technology emerges as the times require. Based on the actual characteristics, in this article, we apply the technology of active real-time to the power system monitor, to meet the demand on the consistency and quick respondence of the real-time data. We also verify the feasibility and practibility through which we implement a practical power monitor system.In order to set up the architecture model for our power monitor system based on active real-time database technology, after current active real-time database technology was examined, the active real-time monitor was theorized and the functional characteristic, data model and event model in the active real-time system were analyzed. The real-time data characteristic and transaction characteristic was examined in detail. A set of real-time data model consists of a set of data object, also the restriction on it and manipulation of it. The event model in active real-time system includes the category, description and manipulation of it.On the basis of active real-time theory, we analyze the practical application of the active real-time database technology to the power monitor system. In the article, the architecture of the power active real-time monitor system was presented, then three key technology was discussed in detail such as active real-time transaction dispatching, the concurrency control and the event detecting and handle in active real-time database.In the end, with the power active real-time monitor system we have developed, we summarized the considerable practical value of the active real-time theory and technology in the power system monitor, followed by a brief description that it has a promising prospects in other power real-time information system.
