With the development of computer and information technology, the need of networking, intelligentize and automation in electric-propelled ships are more complicated. It's necessary to develop the integrated and safe management system of ship. Especially the communication net that achieves the monitoring and management data transmission is the key part of the information communication of the whole system. Therefore a reliable and efficient data transfer mechanism that achieves the fast and efficient real-time data communication between servers and the workstations is required.This paper researched and analyzed the current and future foreign technology development trends of the on-management and monitoring in the electric-propelled and auxiliary systems. Combination of Chinese current actual situation and specific needs, we researched communication technology of management and monitoring system in electric-propelled ship. with the idea of object-oriented programming, we use the dynamic link library which is based on.Net platform and C# to built the real-time data communication of the monitoring systems in electric-propelled ship. Database layer used SQL Server 2005 software.In this paper, We developed the communication protocols and real-time database to optimize the mass real-time data processing and a large number of high-speed data storage. With the Information isolation (Multicast) technology, we solved the network broadcast storm. We built the redundant double-loop fiber-ring optic Ethernet with the Advantech Gigabit Fiber Ethernet Switch to build virtual reality ship network architecture. Thus we constituted the real-time communication that is integrated, efficient and meets function of security management and on-line training. It's advanced, safe, reliable, and real-time efficient. Meanwhile we provides the interface and spatial to future upgrades and technological innovation.
