The high speed train's bogie, as one of the key components to the high speed train, has a rather large influence on the train's security, reliability and amenity. Therefore, it is necessary to research and develop bogie of high speed train.Under the guidance of locomotive and car dynamics theory, the model on the basis of "PIONEER" EMU's dynamic bogie is developed. Using program NUCARS and orthogonal test method, parameters of suspension and structure are optimized comprehensively considering a variety aspects of the EMU's dynamics performanceon the basis of the actual running conditions, such as running speed, track radius, cantand track irregularities etc, in order to meet the needs of high speed running.On the basis of optimized parameters, We created the simulation model and calculated it's dynamics performance using ADAMS/Rail software, after that, compared the outcome to that from analyzing the simulation model in program NUCARS. We also studied the former model's dynamics performance under the excitation of random irregularities. In view of the semiactive suspension system being adopted abroad more widely than over, we made a preliminary study on it through the association of the ADAMS/Rail and MATLAB software.The last parts of the dissertation are the conclusions and presumptions of the further works.
