Study Of PC/PLC Mechanical And Electrical Control System

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a kind of universal industrial control apparatus which is developed rapidly and used widely in recent years , taking microprocessor as its core, integrating microcomputer technology, automation technology and communication technology. It is applied very diffusely in varied field of industrial control with the characteristics such as all-around functions, flexible application, well reliability, high ratio of capability and price and easy maintenance and so on, having become a robust tool to realize industrial automation.This paper takes OMRON CPM2A PLC as its background machine and puts forward a sort of method of designing PC/PLC all-round experimenting and developing system for mechanical and electrical control. Especially , it pays more attention on the things such as principle of this system, composing and designing of the hardware , fixing and debugging, experimenting and developing. It also discusses CPM2A basic instructions, programming language and method, communication principle and realization of PC/PLC one-to-one Host Link connection system. Further more, this paper analyzes concrete applications of OMRON special developing and programming software CXP(CX-Programmer), as well as ladder diagram, mnemonic code, real-time monitoring, online programming and editing and so on.With combining the developed PC/PLC Mechanical and Electrical Control System, the applications and further experimenting development of this system are studied. The results of experimenting tests and development show that the hardware was designed and arranged in reason, the programming software has friendly interface and can run well.The system can work reliably with property of easy operation and maintenance. It can be used not only for engineering and experimenting technicians to carry through PLC application development for industrial control but also for university students to be trained for innovation and production in science and technology. Therefore the system bears certain practical applying significance and popularizing value.
