The Research Of Frost Durability Of Cement Concrete Pavement

There are a lot of cement concrete pavements in our country, but the durability of the cement concrete pavements has become a problem. Freeze-thaw durability is an important property of concrete. The cement concrete pavements in cold regions often suffer from surface scaling or internal cracking under freeze-thaw cycles. The thesis analyzes the main reasons of frost damages by freeze-thaw test.In the preface, the thesis introduces concrete structures development and problem in china and other countries. The factors that influence the durability of concrete structures are given. In addition, the significance and the content of the thesis are presented. In the second part, the concrete test cubes are made and their basic physics and mechanics properties are determined. In the concrete test cubes damages under freeze thaw cycles, the theory of the frost damages is explained and freeze-thaw test is done. From test results, the thesis analyzes the main reasons of frost damages. In the end, the thesis presents the measures to enhance frost durability of the cement concrete pavement.
