With the development of the national economy and the progress in the west of China, a greatly achievement has been gained in construction of the concrete foundation facilities. The bridge and road are constantly expanded in the west area, and the large-scale complicated side slopes as well as big span bridges also appeared. So scientists and engineers pay more and more attention to the health monitoring in concrete foundation facilities such as in side slopes and bridges. But owing to the shortcoming of monitoring method at present, great accident still occurs again and again. This Master dissertation derived from one of "the fifth strategic" items of Chongqing. "The technology of initiatively monitoring the health and safety of infrastructure based on piezoelectricity". It is a kind of monitor technology that has some characteristics, such as real time, online, undamaged and distribution. Its purpose is to provide one kind of new, practicable and unfailing engineering method and instrument system in this field. We fixed our title and content of the research on this field according to the real working mode of piezoelectric ceramic piece. And this dissertation may be thought as a kind of research work toward the application.This article involves many kinds of special subjects such as mechanics, acoustics and piezoelectricity technology etc. We carefully discuss this topic so that can certificate the feasibility of this technique applying in concrete.Study on the characteristic of piezoceramic actuator is an important step in the studying of undamaged-inspection process based on piezoceramic actuator technology. This thesis firstly dwells on the sample model of piezoceramic actuator under the restriction of concrete. Through theory and experimentation analysis, we arrives at a conclusion that the vibration behavior of piezoceramic actuator belongs to that of the thin platevibration, and also define the condition of its boundary. We also use a kind of scientific numerical value method to achieve a general solution. Then by way of studying the software ANSYS6.1, we find that the SOLIDE5 element in its unit warehouse can solve the couple field problem. So we attempt to use ANSYS6.1 to analyze the coupling effect in piezoceramic piece. This will helpful for further study in this technique.One kind of analysis method based on phase and amplitude is put forward in this article. Through analyzing the spectrum of ultrasonic transmitter and the receiver, we try to fulfill the qualitative analysis of the damage inside the concrete. So we can realize monitoring of the concrete's health and safety based on piezoelectricity by using this law.
