Pipeline safety plays an important role in national economy and national security.Monitoring of pipeline safety is increasingly important.Piezoelectric materials have been widely used in practical engineering and scientific research in the field of health monitoring.It has important practical value and research significance to achieve the health monitoring of pipeline safety through the application of piezoelectric materials in pipeline engineering and practical testing.For this reason,this paper uses piezoelectric active sensing method to do some research of the pipeline defects.The main contents are as follows:1.The article introduces the background significance of experimental research,analyzes safety accidents and consequences of pipelines,describes the research status of piezoelectric materials in the field of health monitoring,and the research results of academic circles in this field.2.Through the research,the author understands the signal processing requirements,analyzes the basic principles of pipeline disease monitoring and detection,masters the working principle of the piezoelectric active method in health monitoring,and learns methods such as wavelet packet energy analysis and time-frequency analysis.Finally,it provides a theoretical basis for realizing relevant practical problems in monitoring the safety of steel pipe.3.Design experiments to test the depth of cracks and the location of cracks in the pipe pipeline.At the same time,the problem of loosening of steel pipe thread joints was studied.In the process of crack depth gradually expanding and the joint from tight to loose,three experiments respectively tested the piezoelectric active sensing signal changes.Through wavelet packet energy analysis and time-frequency analysis,the signal can reflect the problem of pipeline defects.In the pipeline crack location experiment,the approximate position of the crack can be determined by the layout of the sensor.Similarly,analysis of signal changes caused by crack propagation in long-distance pipeline monitoring and comparative analysis of signal characteristics can yield valuable results.4.By analyzing the experimental data,the results show that the looseness of the pipe joints and the expansion of the pipe body will lead to the weakening of the signal energy of the piezoelectric active sensing method.The changes of the two are significant in the time and frequency domain and the range of change is different.Loose joint defects cause the signal to change over a wider range of frequencies.In the experiments of steel pipe crack location,the signal still reflects the energy attenuation caused by the crack propagation during long-distance transmission.The placement of the sensor can well identify the crack location.The above studies show that the piezoelectric active sensing method can effectively monitor the crack propagation and increase the loosening process of the pipeline.On the basis of rational placement of sensors,it can effectively identify the location of pipeline damage,and provide a useful reference for the application of piezoelectric materials in pipeline engineering.
