Manufacturing based on networkes is one of the main trend of modern manufacturing industry's development. The Networked Manufacture Platform System(NMPS) is produced to adapting this trend. Product Design Review Support System based on Networkes(PDRSSN) is an important part of NMPS . It enable managers, designers, manufacturers and review personnel to participate synchronously or asynchronously in the review meeting at different places. With its help, the quality of product can be improved and the time of developing product can be cut down.Product Design Review Support System based on Networkes is one of the research topics in Networked Manufacture Platform, which have bean supported by the National Sci-Tech Key Program(serial number: 2001BA201A06).The major work in this paper is as follows. In this paper, the content and request of tradition design review, current situation and key technology of the PDRSSN are discussed. The business procedure and function module of PDRSSN has been built after the reorganization and optimization of the content and request of tradition design review, and a item system of design review based on networks has also been built.According to the systematic structure of C/S which is commonly used to develop web server and the characteristics of Servlet and JSP server programming, a system has been developed based on the structure like "JSP +servlet+ database". PDRSSN can satisfy the request of product design review, keep enterprise information's safety effectively. Developed the GUI (general user interface),which is in order to strengthen the interactive capability between people and meet the need of product design review.
