This paper describes the numerical simulation on the gas-solid multiphase flow in newly developed ellipse-cone shaped burner. It uses RNG K-εmodel based on Euler frame of reference for the computation of gas phase flow field, and stochastic tracking model based on Lagrangian frame of reference for the computation of particle phase ,which can reflect complex movement experience and collision of particle and wall. The coupling of particle and fluid uses PISC arithmetic. The influences of the baffle angle and the clapboard position on the flow velocity and particle rich/lean distribution ratio are studied. It reveals the movement trait and separating mechanism of airflow and particle in the curved pipe, square-circle tie-in, separating setting and the straight section in the front of burner's nozzle by multiphase theory.
