The security and reliability in the operation of electricity equipment is the premise of the security and reliability of power supply. With the development of the power system in the way of high voltage and vast capacity, it requires more in the security and reliability of power supply, the effect made by trouble of electricity equipment becomes more and more important, and the electricity consumers also requires more in the quality of power supply. So guarantee to the security in operation of electricity equipment becomes more and more important.Because the monitoring of electricity equipment is still in the condition of traditional prophylactic test (monitoring off line), wordage list and management method of handwork operation, to strengthen the real-time monitoring of the operation state of electricity equipment(monitoring on line), find out the anomaly of equipment, monitor and analysis the fault, then take a corresponding measures to lower the fault loss so that we can make the transition between the regulations of periodic repairing equipment and the regulations of reasonable state repair, is the work which the department of power supply and operation make much of. This article is based on the developement of the on-line monitoring technology of electricity equipment. It is associated with the application and practice of monitoring technology in transformer station and emphasise on the method of transformer on-line monitoring. In view of its complexity, experience and fuzzy, we adopt the approach of integration. And depending on the principle of manual intelligence we couple the theory of fuzzy mathematics and manual neural network and use it in the fault diagnosis of transformer, then we carry the science and modernization of equipment monitoring and fault diagnosis into execution to improve the efficiency and quality of our work.The main work in the article is given as follows:1. Summarize the meaning, present situation and the developing trend in future of state monitoring of electricity equipment and fault diagnosis. Start with the view ofrealtime monitoring, with an eye on the on-line monitoring and diagnosis, so as to complete the transition the regulations of periodic repairing equipment to the regulations of more reasonable state repair.2. Introduce some relevant knowledge, including all kinds of the insulation test, the sort of fault, the reason for fault, fault monitoring, the method of judgement, and the measures of trouble clearing.3. Introduce the system of state monitoring, diagnosis and integration in SPM transformer station, and the method of on-line monitoring dissolved gas in transformer oil. this integration system can commute the information with the synthesis automation system of transformer station, and the subsystem of on-line monitoring and diagnosis of gas in transformer oil can monitoring the status of insulation of transformer and every important test index. it also can warn when the data is exceeding and then proceed to enquiry the matter.4. Integrate with the theory of fuzzy mathematics, use two ways of fuzzy diagnosis to tell the property of fault, provide the corresponding disposal method and apply it to the practice of transformer fault diagnosis.5. By a example to verify the accuracy and practicability of a system.
