Durable Detection And Evaluation Of Existing Concrete Structures

Concrete structures are widely used in civil engineering today, so it is important to dectect and evaluate durability of concrete structures. Durability detection and evaluation of concrete structures origined in 1960's of 20th century, China has made much research on it since 1990's of 20th century. But, it nessary to build a system of durability detection and evalution of existing concrete structures now.In this paper, the system of durability detecticn and evaluation of concerte structures was built on some theories of statistics and standard reliability. This system depended on the ways and experience of detection.The feasibility for this system was proved by the decection and evaluation of four different engineering practices. It is useful to draw experience from the textual work on the durability detection and evaluation of existing concrete structures .
