The piles are usually laid under the ground or the water, which are convert projects. The problem of quality is easy to come with the various processes, high technology, and great difficult of the projects. The piles, especially the quality of huge piles play a very important role in the safety of the whole construction. Therefore, in order to keep the safety of people's life and property, the quality of the piles should be strictly controlled. Then the more advantaged detection technique is needed to be used in the pile detection. Computed Tomography is just such an advantaged technique, which has been widely and maturely used in iatrology, and in exploration of geophysics and scatheless detection in recent twenty years. It can reflect the inside structure of the inspected object precisely and gain the clear figure.Nowadays, the ways to detect the piles are various, and all of them are limited in some aspects. For instance, Coring Test do large scathe on the piles, and Static Load Test will waste much time, money and energy, while some ways are hard to operate as the limitation of the length and the diameter of the piles, and the special condition on the spots, such as high-Strain, low-Strain, and so on. Furthermore, the result can only be gained under the complex analysis of the collected wave, and under the validation of the Coring Test.According to all the above problems, this paper, states the application of Computed Tomography, which is widely used in iatrology, in pile detection. By using the ultrasonic to scan the pile, and reflecting the transmitting-speed of ultrasonic in each part of pile according to the readout of voice and some relative information, and the speed of ultrasonic, the strength of the pile and the range, shape and size of the objection are confirmed directly, roundly and precisely. All the results are gained through the Computed Tomography System, which is authorized by the author. At last, the successful using of Computed Tomography in No. 1 Pile in the left of Honest 24 of F1 Bid of Su-Tong Bridge and No. 3 Pile of Honest 26 of Wuhekou Bridge of Su-Huai Speedway, validate the reliability, advantage, and superiority of the Computed Tomography.
