Method Of LOGIT Model In Traffic Mode-split

Based on RUM (Random utility maximization) Logit model is Disaggregate Method in modern traffic planning theory .Because of small investigating capability with accurate prediction Logit model is valuable in Mode-Split research. This paper summarizes the development of Logit model and main deriving forms. And the author studies the model and gives the method to calculate parameter. Surrounding the theme of Mode-Split application, the author writes a program to confirm the model with emulational data of some main area of Nanjing city and the data of traffic investigation in Puyang city. And the author founds investigation item filtration can improve precision and veracity of model and provides the single-item test method to reach the goal mentioned above. Results show that the consequence of program accord well with the ending of statistics by aggregate method and the model is practicality.
