The inverters based on space-vector PWM technique have many good qualities, such as less pulsating torque, higher usage of DC bus voltage, less switching loss, better high-speed regulation performance, so it is applicable for the high-performance motor control system. The comprehensive and systematic research on induction machine's speed regulation system using space-vector PWM inverter is introduced in this thesis, which including mathematical modelling, control theory analyzing, digital control system design, simulation and realization.In order to optimize the modulation performance, the relationships between the modulation signals (include fundamental signals and zero-sequence signal) and space vectors, between the modulation signals and space-vector sectors were discussed, then three kinds of optimal switching pattern of space-vector modulation are established. The vector control strategy of the space-vector PWM voltage source inverter-fed induction machine was studied later. A rotor-oriented control system of induction machine was advanced, whose arithmetic is simple and is convenient to operate economically. Lots of experiment was done on a self-made digital motor control platform, which was developed by using TMS320LF2407A. It is validated that the design of induction machine VVVF control system has its rationality and feasibility. The distinct reduction of switching loss shows the efficiency of the three optimal switching patterns initiated. The research of this paper lays a solid foundation for the research of the high-speed motor control system to be continued.
