Vector controlled induction motor drive system is one of the key subjects and technological breakthrough in the field of electrical drive and automation. vector control is one of the advanced theories, which is based on motor unification principle, energy conversion and vector coordinate transformation theory. It has many advantages such as novelty, practicability and advancement. By transforming the model of AC motor to DC motor, the stator current is decomposed into two DC parts which are orientated towards the rotator magnetic field and controlled respectively. Thus the magnetic flux and torque are decoupled. In this way, it controls the asynchronous motor in a synchronous way.In the present investigation, a direct field oriented control system of induction motor is implemented with self-adaptive fuzzy- PI closed loop speed controller and closed loop current controller. The control algorithm is processed in real time using TMS320F2812 digital signal processor (DSP).The designed vector control system has high experimental results and appliedin vector invertor production. The primary tasks are as follows:(1) The principle of duble closed loop field orientated control system using rotor flux orientation system of induction motor and SVPWM technology are discussed thoroughly via induction motor mathematics model and the ecordinate transformation,and the controlling scheme suit for the request of the system is confirmed;(2) The hardware circuit of the controlling system is desinged including the control circuit,power circuit,drive circuit,human-computer interface circuit etc;(3) The software functional block diagram and flowchart and the child modules of the double closed loop vector control system are also presented:(4) Using advanced self-adaptive fuzzy PI controller instead of traditional PI controller as system's speed controller;(5) Succesfully build experimental equipment according to the above hardware and software design for the first, then experiments were carried out and given. The proposed system has been applying in vector invertor production by Beijing Tianhuaboshi Electric Co.Ltd, which has very well experimental results and achived high praise from customers. The experimental results show that the proposed vector control system can not only enhance the robustness of the system, but also have high steady-state precision and dynamic performance.
