The mathematical model and dynamical diagrams of the Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) are obtained, based on the analysis of the principle of BLDC. The closed-loop scheme of the BLDC is discussed and the BLDC Motor controller using DSP is designed. To overcome the problems in the classical PID algorithm, the nonlinear integral PID algorithm is presented and applied in the design system.The Sine wave Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) is used to reduce the wastage and the noise of the motor more effectively, as comparing to the equal pulse width modulated PWM. The SPWM algorithm using symmetrical sample in this controller, can alter its frequency and amplitude.The good performance of the BLDC Motor controller using DSP is verified by the experiment.
