There has been a dramatic increase in recent years in the use of comprehensive CFD based computational tools to model industrial processes within the Chemical, Metallurgical, and Power Generation Industries. There has been significant industrial interest in SNCR as a low-cost, effective, and retrofittable NOX control strategy.In this article, the numerical simulations were conducted for SNCR of a tangentially fired coal furnace. The simulation of flow, heat transfer, combustion, species diffusion, and analysis of the result got pleased conclusion and provide important basis for the designing of the SNCR system.Lu Tao(Thermal engineering) Directed by prof.
