DVR based on the line voltage compensating (LVC) is proposed in the present paper, which is suitable to the medium voltage distributing network. DQ analyzing method is used in the measurement of power quality. The simulation and experiment have illustrated The effectiveness of the method. SPWM technique is used in the controlling of the inverter. To achieve the purpose of increasing inverter voltage output ability, the paper brings forward a kind of method which is suitable to the DVR. With some technique, DC voltage pumping-up has been resolved. On the base of hardware, this paper finishes the software design of the device using DSP assembly language.After moving some key obstacles, the author has realized a prototype LVC DVR. The effectiveness of DVR is illustrated by the compensation experiment.
