This thesis chiefly analyzes the problem of exchanging heat quantity and the methods of the improvement of cooling tower in power station, compares and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of it.This thesis will discuss how to prevent natural-draft counter-flow wet cooling tower from freezing in winter, and compute the areas of draught deflectors. When temperature changed, in order to keep the outlet temperature of the cooling water stable, we can change the areas of draught deflectors, so the speed and area of the draught is changed, which will improve the safety and economy of the running assembling sets with the assumption of economizing water in winter.This thesis will put forward a new design project that aimed at discussing the packing sets of natural-draft counter-flow dry cooling tower, which is the research and application of the spray nozzle. The content mainly includes the experimental study of the application of the JNX-01 spray nozzle in cooling tower, as well as the heating calculation.After the modification, the characteristic of outlet water of the spray nozzle is changed and the outlet temperature of the cooling water from the spray nozzle is decreased. As a result, the coal consumption is reduced and the efficiency of the steam turbine is better.
