This project was based on the National Science and Technology Ministry's "The tenthfive" key project: XIALI Pure Electrical Vehicle Project. ( Reference on National Science andTechnology Ministry's document: "The reversion of "The tenth five" 863key project XIALI PureElectrical Vehicle Project " –No.[2002]159 ). Through about one year's development and design, the developed Electrical Vehicle networkcontrol system has gained the eminent index and passed the examination of National Science andTechnology Ministry. However, there are some limitations need to improve as follows:1,The protocol does not accentuate the request of real time.2,As a network control system, the designer neglected to consider of the effect of netdelay. In this project, I primarily revise the developed Electrical Vehicle network controlsystem in two different directions. I started with the improvement of net protocol. CANOpenhigher layer protocol combined with Earliest Deadline scheduling algorithm improve theprecedent protocol. The new conception of object dictionary in CANOpen higher layerprotocol standardized the data transferred on the network; the optional high resolutionsynchronization protocol provide more accurate synchronization; and the Earliest Deadlinescheduling algorithm increased the real time significantly. Finally, I made a experiment of the new protocol. The experimental deviceincluded three nodes on the CAN bus, which simulate the main node, motor controlunit and battery control unit. Through the experiment, the feasibility of the newprotocol has been proved effectively. Though the protocol is far from applying inpractice, I believe it will be applied in future.
