The Contemporary Netherlands Architecture has its special features that are formed from varied cultures and natural environment. What inspired us most is its functionality, the methods dealing with the density which is familiar to which of China, and the sensibility in an opening environment.The new Netherlands architectures are the main objects. Meanwhile, the essay also deals with the modern architectures since 1900, because of the continuity. I want to investigate Holland architectures in a different way to avoid classifying, and look on it through studing the architects and Netherlands architectures. The development route is expatiated in a deep way in this article, together with the research of the whole environment of special history and society. At the same time, art, politics, economy, culture and natural environment are also the objects, because they will affect the developing process of the contemporary architecture. Another focus is how the overseas affect the Netherlands architecture.This article comprises three chapters. One is about the phenomenon of the contemporary Netherlands architecture, via the analysis of the work of Netherlands architects and that of the overseas in Holland.
