In this thesis, the progress of pulsatory electronically controlled technology on the internal combustion engine is systemically reviewed. The requirement of fuel injection system on future internal combustion engine is analyzed. The thesis concentrates on the key component on the fuel injection system – an innovative pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module. The static characteristics of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module has been systematically investigated by means of computer simulation and experimental investigation.To reach the requirement of high precision of timing control on the engine pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection system, this thesis concentrates on the key component -- pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module. The static characteristics of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module is investigated emphatically. The pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module developed in this paper differs from the traditional ones, it has many goodness as unusual construction, low making complexity, steady performance, flexibility on the variable working conditions. In view of the unusual construction of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module, this thesis adopts proper facilitation on the construction parameters on condition that the precision of the static characteristics of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module is not influenced greatly. The static characteristics of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module can be calculated by means of computational electromagnetics.To validate the result of the computer simulation, a test rig for measuring static characteristics of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module has been set up, which consists of the measuring system, controlling system. The experimental results show that the high timing controlled precision of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection system can be reached with the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection module. The simulating results agree well with the experimental ones. The computer simulation program can be employed in the study of the pulsatory electronically controlled fuel injection system.
