GFRP bar is a new antisepsis material and it have many availabilities, such as the resistance to corrosion, high strength-to-weight ratio, low electromagnetic properties and so on. However, to fully replace steel by GFRP bar, some aspects of their behaviour have to be determined, include smooth surface, low bond strength, low modulus of elasticity. This paper first present a study on the bond properties of furan resin concrete reinforced with GFRP bars, in which the pull-out test was adopted to investigate the bond performance between GFRP bars and furan resin concrete, compare the bond strength of GFRP bars of different surface disposal and validated the feasibility by test the GFRP bars reinforced furan resin concrete beam. Then the paper provides a micro-mechanical model for the splitting failure analysis of GFRP reinforced concrete member and deducted the relation between splitting failure load and parameter of GFRP rod. Finally, considering the request of the GFRP bars reinforced furan resin concrete electrobath, we designed the structure of the electrobath and use finite element method to analyse it. In the process, pre-stress also was considered. The result of use in practice indicate the properties of GFRP bars can meet the request of electrobath structure.
