It's indisputable that the once dominant function-oriented approached has been replaced the need-oriented method in product's forming and shaping process. Therefore, this research is intended to test the feasibility of employing a hypothesis based in human image in creating a set of procedures in the development of product design process. First an in-depth discussion of the historical background and case-studies are administered to generate an initiate stage of hypothesis, and then conduct to finalize a solid model that can be further in cooperated into the actual design process. Two possible conclusions are reached:1. As detailed in this thesis, the application of the shaping design in the viewpoint of image, and in the designing procedure from image to visualization, can conclude that the processing of design centered on emotional image follow 5 designing stages: (1) making of abstract meaning. (2) Design idea. (3) Expression methods. (4) Thinking and evaluating choices. (5) Solid modeling transformation.2. The feelings of image stimulated by the any product is the end result of designer's effort in transforming the users' emotion into forms and shapes through the processes of shifts of experiment, movements and actions, transformation of forms and shapes, and the creation of feeling and atmosphere in cooperated with the concepts of characteristics in forming and shaping, shifts in approaches, and well-defined meaning; the interactions among all those above factors will result to products with settle connotations and exciting emotions. The conclusion through this research, this set of procedures can be applied to and will assist designers to explore the relations between product design and human images.
