Unbounded partially prestressed reinforced (PPC) structure is a new form of Reinforced concrete (RC) structure 5which need not set ducts ,install tendons and grout in advance ,so it is more convenient and quicken the rate of progress .The tendons of unbounded PPC have smaller fraction force and are easier to bend to many shapes ,so it is more suited for building these rooms whose span are large. With the study of the ability of unbounded PPC structure and the development of materials of unbounded PPC and the technique of light jack ,the advantage of unbounded PPC structure has been widely recognized. The influence of the ducts for tendons or strands weakening the section of frame column is a question in the PPC design .A contrast experimental research of five beam-column joint with two one-way placed ducts and one without any ducts is presented .The results show that there is the influence of those ducts to the ultimate bearing capacity of the weakened section of the joint, when the total section area of the ducts is beyond 29 percent of the cross-section area of column under axes-pressure.
