This paper presents the basic concept on the base of systemic description on hybrid system basal theory. The dissertation mainly expounds the thoughtway of designing hybrid power system simulating flat roof by the principle of object-oriented technique through a computer language Modelica. The flat roof can emulate the eletromechanical transient process of hybrid power system which includes generator, transmit-line, load transformer, on-load transformer controller with tap, switchable capacitor groups, low- voltage removing load device, dynamic-brake devic, fast closing vapor door equipment and so on. Controllers which produce hybrid action are set up by the way of programmable timed petri nets. Finally, the biulded component models are simulated, result displays that the flat roof can truly reflect power system's bybrid characteristic. The paper can provide reference for the power system whole- dynamic emulating flat roof's establishment.
