Based on the experimental study of 4 steel truss S.R.C members with asymmetrical T-shaped cross-section subjected to axle centre or biaxial eccentric loading, this paper reveals the action behavior, failure patterns and bearing capacity of the steel truss S.R.C members with asymmetrical T-shaped, examines the hypothesis of plane cross-section of average strain and preliminary obtains the general variation regularity of failure of asymmetric T-shaped cross-section steel truss S.R.C members. On the basis of above mentioned research works, the computer programs of calculation of M-N interaction curve and Mx-My interaction curve are compiled by usingnumerical iterative method. With this program, we can calculate ultimate strength of steel truss S.R.C columns with asymmetric T-shaped cross-section, the comparison between theoretical results and experimental results shows satisfactory agreement. Furthermore, this paper also compares the bearing capacity between R.C columns and S.R.C columns, those columns have the same cross-shape and material, the result shows that the bearing capacity ofS.R.C columns which depose a few section steel can be obviously enhanced. Finally, initial research above the practical designing method for S.R.C columns with special shaped cross-section are given in this paper.
