Based on the experimental study of 3 steel truss S.R.C members with inequiaxial L—shaped cross-section subjected to axle compression and biaxial bending, this paper reveals the action behavior, failure patterns and bearing capacity of the steel truss S.R.C members with inequiaxial L—shaped, examines the hypothesis of plane cross-section of average strain and preliminary obtains the general variation regularity of failure of inequiaxial L-—shaped cross-section steel truss S.R.C members. On the basis of above mentioned research works, with the computer program we can obtain M-N interaction curve and M_x-M_y interactioncurve. With this program ,we can also calculate ultimate strength of steel truss S.R.C columns with inequiaxial L-shaped. The comparison between theoretical results and experimental results shows satisfactory agreement. Furthermore, this paper also compares the bearing capacity between R.C columns and S.R.C columns, those columns have the same cross-shape and material, the result shows that the bearing capacity of S.R.C columns which depose a few section steel can be obviously enhanced. Finally, initial research above the practical designing method for S.R.C columns with special shaped cross-section are given in thispaper.
