Prestressed concrete slab-column structure has been widely used in long-span and multistory building. There are four commonly used analysis methods for slab-column structure, which are direct design method, equivalent frame method, plasticity method and finite element method. The equivalent frame method is recommended at home and abroad, and it is also the most common method in engineering circles. The analysis result on prestressed concrete slab-column structure in regular column layout is closed to that of actual situation. For slab-column structure of variable slab width, approximation is needed or is replaced by FEM. This paper presents the element stiffness matrix and equivalent node force of the variable cross-section bar. So the approximation in structural analysis is avoided, and the calculation capacity of equivalent frame method is also developed. This helped the engineers avoid the FEM, which consume much time and is difficult to master. In this paper, the steps and frame of analysis and design is presented and the influence of column capital, drop panel, edge beam and flat beam on structural analysis is introduced.
