Double-tower structure (DTS) is a new type super high-rise building structure system, which is a complicated new type high building structure combined by the base structure, it is more widely used in the practical engineering, owing to the diversification in the structure and space assembling. Although doing some research on the structure, the research on the performance under the static loads is not deep, specially the research on the dynamical characteristic. This paper makes a more systemic deep and full research on the performance of the static load, the performance of the dynamic load and the wind induced vibration.After discussing the mechanism of the wind acting on the structure and the parameter considered in the wind resistance design, the paper analyses the performance of the static load. The characteristic of structure deformation and the mechanic, the force direction in the structure are also specially analysed deeply. Especially focusing on the action from the lateral force, it discusses the influence from the different connection between the main structure and the sub-structure, discussing the variation trend between the whole part and the local part at the same time, which is caused by the different section design parameters.The paper analyses the characteristic of the self-vibration, the influence on the whole structure stiffness and the vibration shapes from the variation of the floor-slab section, the variation of the primary structure section, the variation of the secondary structure section, the variation of the shear wall section, explaining the method of the sub-structure (which is the super-element method), which is effective.According to the fluctuating property of wind, on the stochastic vibration finite element theory, some calculation formulas of the response, including the along-wind response and the across-wind response, are obtained, the ideology of the torsion vibration in the double-tower structure and the ideology of the double-tower structure's dynamical wind load are also put forward at the same time. By using the stochastic vibration module of the general finite element program, the paper analyses the performance of the wind resistance more deeply and fully, discussing the influence on the double-tower structure from the diversification of the differentcomponent. The variance law of dynamic displacement and wind-induced vibration coefficient is derived through analyzing structure stochastic vibration, so is the effect of several parameters on dynamic displacement, acceleration and wind-induced vibration coefficient. The reason why the outcome is different from that of the code is also interpreted. Some significant conclusion is also obtained.Finally, some conclusions about the theoretical analusis method are drawn, which provide the reasonable theory and reliable data for the revision of the high-rise building code.
