Temperature control system of traditional air-conditioner depends on its sensors to monitor indoor temperature's changes and to control the compressor to run at a specified speed. Because indoor environment temperaturejs a large time-delay system of non-linearity and big inertia, it is a discontinuous process to adjust temperature by traditional air-conditioner inevitably. The compressor can't adjust its running situation at an appropriate speed according to indoor temperature changes, which will result in dweller's uncomfortableness and energy waste.To use traditional air-conditioner to control temperature, a precise mathematical model is essential to PID algorithms. While in fact it is difficult to do it. In recent years, a novel algorithms-fuzzy logic that can overcome PID's shortcoming, has been put into practice. With the help of it, air-conditioner, namely Fuzzy Inverter Air-Conditioner, has the intelligence character that temperature is adjusted automatically, continuously, according to temperature's change indoors. All this will avoid frequent switches of the compressor and economize energy.Although Fuzzy Inverter Air-Conditioner, compared with the traditional air-conditioner, has been proven to be more effective in complex, time-varying and uncertain control system,it has a main problem, that is, its control parameters are set by expert's experience beforehand, mostly under standard environment. When indoor environment changing suddenly, the Fuzzy Inverter Air-Conditioner are controlled sharply at set member functions and control rules.It will have a great effect on comfortability of human.In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, this paper makes the comfortableness index objective function directly and by genetic algorithm, optimize automatically fuzzy membership function and control rules withenvironment change. By these means, Fuzzy Inverter Air-Conditioner will have a true intelligence character. This paper covers the following four aspects:1 .. Utilize genetic algorithm to optimize fuzzy control rules and membership functions according to the comfortableness index.2 Utilize MATLAB simulating optimization design for first-order system with large time-delay and compare their results with the system designed by PID.3 Design the hardware system and software system of the Fuzzy Intelligence Inverter Air-Conditioner Based On Genetic Algorithms.4 Make some exploratory efforts to electromagnetic Compatibility of Fuzzy Intelligence Inverter Air-Conditioner Based On Genetic Algorithms.
