This article is mainly to research how to calculate the Free Dropping velocity of Fiber-Particle, and carry out experiment research. In the domain of aerosol, it's difficult to carry out the research concerning about fiber-particle. At first, the author looked back the outcome in relation to this aspect on theory and experiment. Author found there was little articles on fiber-particle free dropping. The reason is that fiber-particle's shape is irregularity, so that it makes the research complex and add the difficulty on research. So, it's very difficult to embark directly from fiber-particle.On the other side, the research about the Free Dropping velocity of sphere particle is mature, and it has come into some theories and calculation methods which have been accepted widely by people. So, this article embark on Free Dropping velocity of sphere particle, and by quoting "sphere coefficient", author ameliorates the equivalent diameter of fiber-particle and regards the fiber-particle as sphere particle. So, we can calculate the free dropping velocity of fiber-particle with the method of sphere particle. Base on this, author establish the theory model which is used to calculate the Free Dropping velocity of sphere particle. For verifying the reasonable of this model, author set up a experiment model in order to carry out experiment relative the theory model mentioned above. The author thought about all kinds of influence which would happen and eliminated them, so that the result of experiment would research high precision. And then, taking cotton, hemp, wool as examples, author calculate their Free Dropping velocity with the theory model mentioned above. After that, author carry out experiment and summarize and analysis it's result in order to certify the result of theory model. Basing on this, author ameliorated the theory model.Traditionally, when people wanted to switch fiber particle to sphere particle, they used "Stokes Diameter". But it's premise is that we has known the free dropping velocity of particle, so it is difficult to operate the job. By quoting "sphere coefficient", author found a method to calculate the equivalent diameter of fiber particle. At the same time, author got "Stokes Diameter" of all fiber particle by experiment and compared them with those result got by calculating theory model. At last, author got a conclusion.
