Our country high grade highway asphalt pavement structure with cement stabilizedcrushed stone as its main base material, but the defects of cement stabilized crushed stonematerial itself can cause, such as too many cracks disease seriously affect the application ofthis materials in high grade highway asphalt pavement. In cement stabilized macadammaterial mixed with a certain percentage of the fiber material, is to improve the anti-crackingperformance of semi-rigid base and one of the important means. This article attempts to theglass fiber used in the cement stabilized gravel, study the performance of cement stabilizedmacadam with glass fiber, the influence of the optimum parameters of the glass fiberapplication are put forward, in order to improve the performance of the cement stablemacadam mixture.This paper first through stage filling test designed the skeleton dense structure gradationcement stabilized macadam, used for subsequent indoor test;, fiber length and fiber content asthe main research object, the design of the proportion of nine groups, compressive strength,contract coefficient, cold resistance coefficient as the index, the glass fiber length and fibercontent on the strength characteristics of the cement stable macadam mixture, and theinfluence of crack resistance and freeze resistance performance, and recommends thereasonable application of glass fiber parameters. The results show that the glass fiber cansignificantly improve performance of cement stabilized macadam material, its glass fiberstrength characteristics of the cement stabilized macadam, crack resistance and freezeresistance performance as the fiber length (<18mm) increases; When the fiber content is0.15%or less, the road performance increase as the fiber content increase is small or evenslightly lower. Eventually determine the optimum content of glass fiber is0.15%; Glass fiberbest18mm in length.
