The servo control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is the emphases of this paper. Based on summary of inductive motor's Vector Control and BLDC's control, it presents a new Vector Control idea, position control model and soft brake control without current loop of the PMSM. It's proved successful on low power PMSM's servo control based on the DSP chip TMS320LF2407A of TI, including speed control and position control. Till now, the characteristic of position control is not very good when load varies obviously, and this will be the emphasis of further research work. Now, the better choice to resolve this question is conducting an excellent control model with excellent control arithmetic. The Model Self-Adapt Control is proved successful and is adopted widely in the world.Summarization, main body (seven chapters), referrence literatures list in this paper and appendix of articles adopted are included.Background of this project, main companies in this field, target of design and innovation ideas are introduced in the summarization.The first chapter presents the knowledge of control motor, including the sorts and base requirements of control motor.The second chapter presents theory of servo control simply, including the relative knowledge of servo motor, conception of servo control and vector control of permenent magnet synchronous motor, etc. Furthermore, emulating of system model based on Matlab is realized.The third to the fifth chapter describes the scheme of this project detailedly, including software part and hardware part. It presents a scheme of servo control on permenent magnet synchronous motor based on DSP chip TMS320LF2407A. Speed control, position control and arithmetic are emphasized. Results of experiment and analysis are showed. And there is a list of finished work and advices for further work.The sixth chapter presents current status in this field simply.The seventh chapter draws a conclusion and prospects.At last, there are referrence literatures list and the appendix of articles adopted.
