The belt drive is in character with it's simple structure, stable drive, low cost, not being needed to lubricated, cushion vibration and overloaded protection. So it is widely used in every vocation, and especially in machine tool, automobile, and textile industry. The belt drive platform is an important tool, by which we can study the law of the belt drive motion, measure the drive efficiency and sliding difference ratio, furthermore, it is a necessary experiment teaching device for mechanics specialty of engineering course academy.This belt drive system is based on the belt drive platform. We develop a complete system which integrates mechanism, electric control through improving the machine construction and electrical control of the intrinsic platform. The improved belt drive platform can implement computer-aided test and data processing and analysis of the following four group data: rotate speed, wrest, drive efficiency and sliding ratio. At the same time, it can dynamically show the curve of the drive efficiency and sliding ratio, and realize computer-aided test and curve fitting of the belt performance parameter. Besides, we realize dynamic and real-time image display on CRT through the control of 80C196 single chip microcomputer. This experiment platform can be used in the performance experiments of belt, smooth flat belt and other belt drive.In this text, author choose an suitable method of data processing, and illuminate that the different curve fitting method will produce different regression precision. Through the way of mathematical statistics, we make regression analysis to some groups of data, and then fit the curve between them. The system software is programmed in assemble language of single chip microcomputer and VB. Through net communication, the experiment platform can realize data transmission between the upper processor and lower processor and man-machine conversation will be achieved finally.
