Multi-channel Underwater Acoustic Signal Preprocessing is the essential part of the SORNA signal processing, especially in a low SNR. In the research of Multi-resolution Direction-Finding with Vector Transducers, two experimentations were done in examining the Directionality and Space Relativity. We propose a method in processing Multi-channel data with software using Virtual Instrumentation technology. In the first part of the thesis, we discuss the pool experimentations after an introduction to Vector Transducers. During these experimentations, we summarized some key points in improving the capability of our DAQ equipments. In another part, a retrospection of wavelet method was given and also some simulations with data we got from these tests were done. The main contribution of this study lies in the third part which gives a whole look at the design and implementation of a Multi-channel Preprocessing system for Underwater Acoustic signals, the key techniques were given in details.
