This paper compares the mathematical model of BPA(Chinese edition) imported by Electrical Power Research Institute of China with Eurostag developed by EDF and TRACTEBEL of Belgium. Based on full appreciation of models and methods of both BPA and Eurostag, the dynamic data transfer method is given. The data of North China Network has been studied with two softwares and the simulation results show good agreement for both power flow modules and dynamic simulation modules.This paper carry out power system post-stability analysis with Eurostag.
